So this has been done for almost a week now, but here it is just the same — my oven prototype! The program, thanks to massive help from Amit and the DfC class, will now let users set the time and temperature from any keyboard with number key input. If I were to actually implement real user testing at this point, I’d change the numbers so that it actually looked like an oven/microwave/cell phone keypad, rather than a computer keypad, and put something reflecting that over the keys, but anyhoo, it works.
