Hacking a Behringer BCF2000

So I got this Behringer BCF2000 because it wanted its beautifully motorized innards, but I didn’t want to take it apart and risk ruining both a wonderful piece of hardware and a moderately comprehensive warranty, so I wanted to see the insides first.  So I applied some internet to the task, and found that someone had already done it!

Check it.

The question remains, of course, if I have time (or, err, the need) to rip this apart and build a new pusher/puller before the NIME show — but it’s nice to know people have done it in the past at least.
