Mike Dory's ITP Blog
Hi! I'm Mike. I'm in my second year of grad school at NYU ITP, where I’m focusing on ubiquitous computing in urban atmospheres, interactive architecture, sustainable energy, emergent networks, big games, audio art, and anything else I can get my hands on. This blog holds my work, thoughts and random rantings from my time at ITP.

Learning Max/MSP. Click full size view to diggit all. Also, as you may note, Max has LED buttons in the software that can be “wired up” to blink when things happen in the [...]

Physical pots are controlling the X and Y of the dot, just like in a real one!
Huzzah! I’ve replicated a cheap children’s toy! Go me!
Guys, I’m serial!!!

WE HAVE TO STOP MANBEARPIG!
*ahem*
I can’t say it’s all that nifty, as I’m just using code swiped off the site, but I still feel pretty damn nifty for [...]

The beginning… Adam helped make it work, Tom actually got it to look nice. Rooooooock.
Array. Class. Object. Function. Cupcake.
I finally did it. I made lines go crissy-crossy on a screen with Processing using arrays.
And I added a cupcake for good measure. Because I love cupcakes.

…now I’m hungry.
ICM - 09.13.06
Not sure if I’m supposed to be posting my ICM homework — but I did anyway. So there.
